Greed... The Money Maker

Here lies the problem, we can spend 700 billion on bank bailouts and, we can spend 800 billion on the largest insurance company AIG bailout in our country then turn around and give billion’s to help GM and Chrysler which has only helped oil companies become wealthier, as well as buy ideas that could have helped Americans and their own industry become stronger and healthier.
But NO, they had to learn a lesson of greed and internal disputes which brought themselves to their knees.

There was a lesson to be learned in the 70’s long gas lines and big cars and the building of the Alaskan Pipeline which was supposed to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. At no time was any of the past brought up. The auto industry made smaller vehicles the Pinto, Hornet, and the Gremlin only to give rise to the Hummer, and the Maybach, and a V12 Dodge Ram pickup why is it bigger was better?

But yet in the 70’s we had to revert to smaller, and now we are doing this again, green this and that and smaller is better, the same thing 25 years later, history repeats itself.
Want another example look at the clothes of today; soon bell bottom pants will be back in fashion.

So now, that we have had a small history lesson, why is it that we can spend billions on world health care and yet, we can not spend any money of American Health Care?

The reason is simple power and greed of Insurance Companies, Pharmaceutical companies.
The United States Taxpayers own the largest insurance company around so why all the talk, this is simple, the fear of change we have been so programmed the people in power use the fear of change to keep control. Please put your newspaper’s down turn off your TV’s and talk with your friend’s, family, your neighbor’s.

This is an American health care issue where families have to make a decision as to weather they can go to a doctor or suffer with ill health when insurance companies decry that a surgery it’s to expensive to save a person’s life and the desperation of a father and mother to save their child’s life. Or that we can only be seen in an emergency room because we don’t have insurance and a Dr. won’t see us at an office because we don’t have the money to pay him and the Dr. won’t accept payments.

How, about families in the hill’s of Virginia and Tennessee that can’t afford, a dentist so they resort to pulling out there own teeth with a pair of pliers. And for many families that go without health care because they can’t afford a Dr. so they resort to home remedies which at times is worse than the illness and sometimes fatal.

So, let’s see if I have this right families are suffering, children are suffering and for those American’s that can’t afford insurance are suffering as well.

Then the hospitals suffer for lack of payment, Doctors lack of payment, and then teachers because the children are ill, the other children at school because some children have insurance, and their parent’s don’t.

And at times the court’s have to step in because they have to make a decision for a child to receive cancer treatment because the parent’s can’t afford it or the insurance company say’s it’s to experimental so were not going to cover it, but yet the treatment has been available for years.
The list grows long, everyday of families struggling between the choice to have health care or food.

It’s time for American’s to help each other out as people to start looking at this as a
Biblical and Moral issue. And not an issue of it’s all about me.

Peace be with you all,
